For holistic development of a child, we impart a comprehensive health education program inclusive of physical, mental and social health topics. The NCERT curriculum primarily focuses on physical education.
When children develop healthy lifestyle habits, they are healthier and perform better academically. When these healthy children become adults, they are more likely to realize their full potential. They are better equipped to raise healthier children, breaking the intergenerational cycle of stunting and various lifestyle diseases.
How will your donation help?
It costs about Rs,1000 per year to deliver health education to a child in a government school. Most of this cost is for the salary of the health teacher and remaining for books and other educational accessories. If a school has 500 middle school students (Class 6-8), it costs Rs.5 Lakh per year to impart health education in that school. Rs.10 Lakhs will help fund two schools. Our goal is that comprehensive health education should be provided in every school across India.
